Chrissy (she/her) is the Senior Director of Education at Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, where she provides training and support to teachers and professionals on sexual and reproductive health. She consults with school districts on best practices in sex education and ensures that materials align with National Education Standards and California law. Chrissy is also an adjunct trainer for the State of California and a professor at San Diego State University. Since 2004, she has volunteered at The Center for Community Solutions, offering trauma counseling to survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Chrissy holds a B.S. in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University.
